Designed to maximise the manoeuvrability in cramped spaces and on stairs, the Pro-skid chair can be used not only in an emergency evacuation situation but also as a transport chair. This versatile chair is perfect for moving casualties and people with disabilities to and from buildings with limited access to lifts.

The Pro-skid’s large sturdy frame ensures that the chair will stand the test of time; the large wheels make it easy to use the chair in a variety of locations, while the rear and front handles extend to help when transporting a casualty or a person with a disability upstairs or over obstacles.

  • The caterpillar belt system allows the chair to descend the stairs easily and safely with one operator
  • Two safety belts; the top one is adjustable and can be used as a head or shoulder restraint
  • The integrated rear and front carry handles make carrying the chair over obstacles and upstairs easier (available on the Pro-skid model only)
  • Lockable front wheels provide extra stability
  • Seat can be adjusted and easily removed for easy cleaning
